BOB PARKINSON

For more than thirty years, Bob Parkinson has been an award-winning television news and sports photographer, documenting events of historic significance and unforgettable impact. His assignments have ranged from presidential visits to Pope John Paul II’s historic trip to the United States. He has reported from the front lines of major disasters, including Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans.
In the world of sports, Parkinson has covered fifteen Super Bowls, multiple NCAA Final Fours, eight years covering the Masters Golf Tournament, and nineteen seasons photographing the New Orleans Saints—just a sampling of the premier sporting events he has captured throughout his distinguished career. Just recently, he was admitted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
Today, his creative focus has turned to nature and landscape photography, where he brings the same trained eye and storytelling sensibility to the beauty of the natural world.
